Akea Whole Foods Supplement

A New Day

I've been taking this great whole food supplement product (it's a powder you mix with water or juice) twice per day now for about 3 weeks. I am so pleased and amazed at how much energy I have now! It has really made a positive difference in my health.

Since I've been taking this pleasant tasting powder I've noticed the following positive changes:

more physical energy
increased mental clarity
better sleep
less carbohydrate cravings & more desire to eat healthier foods
softer, more youthful skin all over, including my face

New Natural Soap for Sale

New Natural Soap Line


Well, in my last post I talked about a new soap scent from my long time soap supplier and I promised to tell you more about it instead of just teasing you. Well, I still will do a post about that new soap scent, but first I must post about the new natural soap line that I now have available for sale.

A couple of months ago when I was just browsing (sniffing) through the various soaps at a big natural foods grocery store in a nearby city, I discovered a line of soaps that I really liked. The scents all seemed very natural and true. The bars were attractively wrapped. The colors were soft and natural.

I purchased a couple of bars to try at home: Rose Geranium, a scent that is both floral and mystically sensual, and Sandalwood, a scent that I normally am not drawn to, but one that many of my soap customers ask for.

Well, I tried the Sandalwood bar in my shower first. I loved it! It smelled great, nice and spicy without overwhelming me with scent. The color was warm and pleasing to my eye. The lather was abundant. I was sold. It was a good natural soap.

I decided to share this nice soap with my customers by offering it for sale along with my existing soap lines. So I arranged for my first wholesale purchase from this new company and started test marketing them.

The photo above shows 4 of the new soap scents. They are all natural scents and colors. They are made by a small family run company in San Francisco called River Soap Company. Their wholesale customer service folks are very helpful and friendly. My regular soap customers have liked the bars they have tried so far. They have praised their scent and their lather. I hope to get some more variety of scents in stock for the upcoming holiday season. I'll have to see how well these sell first. So far, so good.

Changes to the Soap Inventory

Well, the Dr. Bronner's bar soaps have not been as popular with my local shoppers as I had originally hoped they would be. The small supply that I had at the beginning of summer is almost completely gone now. That's good, but not good enough for me to stock up on Dr. Bronner's in the future. I will still have them available for sale, but I may offer them as special order items only. Or perhaps only online when I finally get my blogs and websites ready for online purchases.

Since my last blog post, I have stocked up on my mainstay line of bar soaps: my big 7 ounce handmade aromatherapy bars. (see them in this blog header photo above) I have a new soap scent to offer as well from this line. The woman who makes these soaps for me loves to experiment with different essential oils and natural botanical ingredients when she has the time. This new scent is the result of one of her recent soapmaking experiments. I am really excited about the new bar.

This is just the teaser. I will tell you all about it in a future post, complete with photos. I've been "researching" the new scented bar in my own shower for a couple of weeks now (yes, those big bars last that long with everyday use!).

New Dr. Bronner's Bar Soaps

We now carry Dr. Bronner's bar soap in many assorted scents. All smell fresh and are just in time for Spring. Dr. Bronner's is a well known brand that I first heard about from one of my customers. He really liked their liquid peppermint soap. I was thrilled to find that Dr. Bronner's makes bar soap as well as the liquid, and in a variety of scents.

These bars are "certified fair trade" and are made with organic oils. I am excited to be able to offer this soap to my customers along with the big bars of aromatherapy soap that are so popular with NobleTouch Naturals customers.
